What to ask any seller of a lifted vehicle
In general, adding a lift does not by itself cancel a factory warranty, but a problem caused by a modification may not be covered. Warranty rules are technical, so get the terms for your exact build in writing.
- Who backs the warranty on the lift and the parts: the dealer, the kit maker, or both
- Whether the factory warranty on the rest of the vehicle is affected
- Where you can take it for warranty work
- Whether the terms are in writing
